Lego League

FIRST Robotics competition

Mrs. Essenburg leads our Lego League. Kids in grades 4-5 work alongside adult mentors as First Lego League students, working as a team to research and develop a solution to real world problems such as alternative energy sources, climate change, food safety and natural disasters. Students also design, build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology, providing students with hands on experience to various topics in STEM while also developing leadership, teamwork and creative problem solving skills. This year's theme is "Into Orbit". Students will be creating a Lego Robot to conquer missions dealing with Space! Contact Mrs. Essenburg at socsfirst@gmail.com
