Kingdom people

Scripture As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. -Proverbs 27:19

A ruler [who oppresses the poor] is like a driving rain that leaves no crops. -Proverbs 28:3

When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding.

-Proverbs 28:12

In Trying Times Kingdom people are anchored by their awareness of God’s love deep within them and deep within everyone else, too. They happily live on a level playing field, where God has come to “pitch his tent” (the literal translation of John 1:14) among all of us. All games of classism, sexism, racism, and nationalism are henceforth seen to be a waste of valuable time and energy that could be used for positive good. -Richard Rohr
