Homeschool Program

We offer two different options for an at-school experience while homeschooling. Every student enrolled in SOCS is welcome to attend chapels (usually twice a month, on Fridays) and other all-school events. See the Registration page for tuition details and see below for the options to determine what works best for your family -we're excited to partner with you!

Option A

Attend Specific Classes

With Option A of our Homeschool program, students attend the classes they are enrolled in, each day. For example, students come to attend Bible, Math and Science. If those subjects are all taught in the morning, the students attend SOCS from the beginning of the day until those subjects are finished before lunch. Students enjoy recess with their peers, and attend field trips for those subjects. Parents maintain curriculum and learning goals at home for all subjects in which the students are learning at home. Students follow SOCS curriculum only for the subjects in which they are enrolled and present for class. To register for Option A, fill out our registration form and indicate your interest in Option A of our homeschool program (and in which subjects students will be enrolling).

Attend 2 or 3 days per week

With Option B of our Homeschool program, students attend school for 2 or 3 full days: Tuesdays and Thursdays, and if opting for the 3rd day, Fridays. Students follow SOCS's curriculum, completing work in class when at school and completing work at home on the days not attending. Mrs. Schmidt serves as liaison between parents and classroom teachers to ensure that each student engages with material and has the necessary supports to thrive while at school as well as at home. To register for Option B, fill out our registration form and indicate your interest in Option B of our homeschool program (and whether you'd like the 2-day or 3-day option).
